These are measured seasons and events, not 30-year normals. Outside Cleveland Hopkins, Chardon and Elyria, almost nowhere in this metro has a long-record station, so a published normal for most suburbs does not exist. It cites Ohio Revised Code 723.011. A violation is a minor misdemeanor. No deadline is stated.

Which of those you have changes the number materially. A short apron in front of an attached garage is one push; a long narrow driveway running back to a detached garage at the rear of the lot is several, with less room at the end to put what comes off the blade. Say which one you have when you call, because in a city with both, the city name alone does not tell an operator what they are pricing.
Mentor’s plow order is published: main roads first — Center Street, Mentor Avenue, Heisley Road — then secondary roads such as Adkins, North Palmerston and Garden Lane, then side streets, then cul-de-sacs. Bridge decks and main roads get a brine pre-treatment; salt goes down after the snow stops, concentrated on hills, curves and intersections. Residents are asked to clear fire hydrants.
With over 500 lane miles to cover and cul-de-sacs last, a Mentor cul-de-sac address should assume the street is cleared late. That is worth saying out loud when you get quoted, because it changes when the contractor wants to come.
