Almost nobody in this market publishes a price. One Cleveland contractor does, and this page runs those figures against Macedonia — which has a code chapter actually titled “Snow Removal” that licenses nobody at all.
This one looks like a license and is not. Macedonia has a Chapter 713 titled “Snow Removal” sitting in the business regulation code — exactly where a licensing chapter would live — but it contains no permit, registration, fee, decal, insurance or bond requirement at all. Its five sections are purpose, definitions, responsibilities, applicability and penalty. A general contractor registration does exist through the building department; whether it sweeps in plowing is a question for the city.

The band is inner-ring pricing and this is the inner ring, so the usual caveat about adjusting it mostly does not apply. Further east it would run higher; further west, lower.
Quotes here have less room to drift than they do at either end of the metro, because the published numbers were produced on this kind of ground in the first place.
So do the multiplication and decide on risk, not on price. A west-side operator plans 16 occurrences a winter; at $50 a push that is $800, against a $550 to $1,250 season band. Break-even, more or less. The reason to sign anyway is what an average hides: 22.7 inches at Cleveland Hopkins in 2022–23, and then two to five feet on the snow belt in five days in late November 2024.
No sidewalk snow duty was found. The city’s sidewalk chapter covers permits, specifications and its repair program and says nothing about snow — consistent with the city stating that it clears sidewalks itself in business districts, around schools and near transit.
Macedonia relies on a year-round self-executing overnight ban rather than a snow trigger: § 351.03(s) prohibits parking on any street from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. except in an emergency, which clears the streets for plowing without anyone declaring anything. The city does separately announce event-based bans.
§§ 713.03 and 713.04. Snow removed from a private road or driveway may not be placed on a public street, may not under any circumstances be placed so as to block delivery of U.S. mail, and may not be placed on private property without the owner’s permission. § 713.04 extends those duties to the property owner doing the work himself, not only to a hired operator.
§ 337.26 is an equipment rule most operators do not know exists: snow removal equipment may not be operated on a street unless its lights comply with the Ohio Director of Transportation’s standards. Penalties escalate to a third-degree misdemeanor on repeat convictions.

That works in your favor. A short, wide apron in front of an attached garage is the quickest geometry a plow operator deals with in this metro, and it prices accordingly — a single push rather than the repeated back-and-blade work a long rear driveway needs.
